Mobile Car Detailing in Selsey and the Witterings
Mobile car detailing, paint correction and ceramic coating in Selsey, the Witterings and across PO20, at Chichester prices.
What sand does to paint
Wind-blown sand is abrasive. When a sandy car is wiped or washed without a proper pre-wash, the grains are dragged across the lacquer and leave fine scratches and swirl marks that show up in the sun. We see it on a lot of cars around the Witterings and Selsey. A safe pre-wash lifts the sand first, paint correction removes the marks already there, and a coating helps sand rinse away instead of sticking.
Where we detail on the peninsula
The Manhood Peninsula is exposed, and wind is the main thing we plan around. Polishing and coating need a spot out of the breeze, such as a garage, a carport or the sheltered side of the house. If the forecast is poor we will suggest another day so the finish is not compromised.
Postcodes covered: PO20.

Can scratches from sand be polished out?

Yes, across the whole PO20 area. We need a dry, sheltered space to apply it.
